- Akon (de son vrai nom Aliuane Badara Thiam) est un chanteur de RnB né le 30 Avril 1973 au Sénégal. A 7 ans, lui et sa famille sont partis s'installer aux Etats-Unis dans le New Jersey.
Akon a pour l'instant sorti deux albums : Trouble et Konvicted et de nombreux tubes comme Locked Up, Lonely, Bananza (Belly Dancer), Smack That et I Wanna Love You. C'est surtout le titre Locked Up sorti en 2004 qui lui fait connaitre un succès fulgurant. Sa voix magnifique a permis a ses titres hip-hop, groove et soul de devenir le must du genre.

is born the 14 October 1987, he is an American RnB singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer. Akon became famous in 2004 after the success of his single Lonely from the album Trouble. His second album Konvicted gave him a Grammy Award nomination for the single "Smack That".
